Overview
A workplace for a creative company, planned around daylight, fresh air, and quiet rather than desk count.
The brief
The company was growing fast and wanted more people in the building, but its team was burning out in a sealed, over-lit floorplate that felt nothing like the work they made.
Our approach
We opened the plan to natural cross-ventilation, carved a full-height planted atrium through the centre, and gave every desk a view out and daylight — trading a little density for a lot of wellbeing.
The outcome
Staff surveys on comfort and focus rose sharply, and the company reports it is easier to attract and keep people. Density held even as the floor felt calmer.
